HOW IS LEATHER MADE?
The hide of an animal can be made into leather by way of one of three major tanning methods.
Vegetable tanned (the use of tree bark or other vegetable tannin material) most saddle leathers are made of this tannage.
Chrome tanned (the use of soluble chromium sulfate salts and oils) shoe, boot, garment and chap/chink leather are tanned using this method.
Chrome/Vegetable Retan (this method uses a slight chrome tanning first and finished with a full vegetable tanning. Latigos, and heavy boot and chap leather are made using this tanning method.
WHAT IS A BACK CINCHA?
The Back Flank Cincha is the cincha that fits loosely from the back of the saddle just in front of the horses flanks. It is used to hold down the saddle when working a large animal.
HOW MANY STYLES OF HEADSTALL ARE THERE?
Many, there is the simple cowboy style, the single and double and stitched brow band, the futurity knot, V brow band, scallop, one ear, loop ear, slit ear and more with widths 3/8 inches to 1 ¼ inches.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN A FRONT AND BACK CINCHA STRAPS?
The front cincha strap is use only on the left front of the saddle, on the left side of the horse.
The back cincha straps are use on the back cincha to hold it in place on the saddle, both right and left side.
DO YOU MANUFACTURE MINITURE HORSE TACK?
Yes, just the same as our regular line of horse tack, but smaller.

WHAT IS A BREAST COLLAR USED FOR?
The breast collar is used to hold the saddle in place on a horse when you are roping or pulling and animal or other object. Small width collars are primarily decorative accessories.
